Gullfoss waterfall is called the Golden Waterfall that thunders 32 m over a fault into a gorge measuring 2.5 km in length and up to 70 m deep in places.

Geysir geothermal fields contains a variety of hot springs and bubbling pools including the original geyser and Strokkur that erupts at 5-10 minutes intervals

Kerià volcano crater and lake is a 15 km drive from Selfoss on road 35 towards Gullfoss/Geysir, on the right side. The crater itself is just one minute from the parking lot.

Ãingvellirnational park is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It offers numerous hiking trails; many are ideal for short and leisurely walks, and detailed maps are available at the information centre at Ãingvellir.

Seljalandsfoss Seljalandsfoss is a narrow but high waterfall, plunging over the mountainside. A path lies at the bottom of the cliffs where it cascades down, offering a safe and easy opportunity to walk behind the waterfall and out the other side.
